The Directorate of General Growth (DGG) organised an online bilateral workshop by the Bilateral Team of the Financial Mechanism Office in Brussels, on Wednesday, January 26th 2022 at 10:00-11:30 am CY time.
It is noted that the bilateral exchanges with the Donor states that are funded under the Bilateral Fund, gave the opportunity to Cypriot entities to cooperate with counterparts from the Donor States and were able to exchange views and experiences as well as good practices.
The workshop which was informative session for all parties interested in proposing bilateral initiatives (activities with a counterpart from at least one entity from the Donor States), also gave examples of bilateral activities from other beneficiary countries as well as it gave the floor to everyone to ask questions on the actions/activities that could be funded and the eligibility of expenditure of the bilateral initiatives.
Our Researcher who was the organiser on behalf of The Cyprus Institute team for the bilateral initiatives of the project “ACCEPT”, Dr Michael Pikridas, has presented the scope of the two trainings offered by our bilateral partners, NILU (Norwegian Air Research) and shared his experience on the benefits of this collaboration to the project.
Present at the workshop were also representatives from the Embassy of Norway in Athens, the National Focal Point and the Programme Operator (DG EPCD) and the Country Officer for Cyprus at the FMO, Ms Lina Marcinkute.
